HENRYETTA - A 36-year-old Tulsan was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Okmulgee County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Wesley Noah Butler Jr. died in Saturday's collision.
Troopers say the collision occurred near Henryetta at 2:28 a.m. Butler was walking in a roadway when he was struck by an eastbound pickup truck.
The impact of the collision threw the pedestrian to the left side of the roadway. No one in the pickup was injured.
The patrol says the victim was transported to the Henryetta Medical Center in critical condition and died about 3 a.m.
Troopers say the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
